Forested Red Wattles
The original Red Wattles (cinnamon colored pigs crossed with the Duroc) breed was favored for its lean, flavorful meat, and long, productive lifespan. We’ll be learning more about Berkshires this year!

Dexters are classified as a small, friendly, dual-purpose breed, used for milk and beef, but they are often listed as a triple-purpose breed, since they are also used as oxen.
